WOW. 

We've just finished with 988 backers, which is the most out of any of the P&P supplements published so far. The support and excitement for this adventure has blown away our expectations, and I think I can speak for Destiny and Sean, when I say that we're thrilled to be able to share this adventure with you all. 

NEXT STEPS

There's a bit of a waiting game we have to play while all the logistics get sorted out. Typically it takes at least a week (maybe 2) for everyone's cards to charge, funds to transfer, and backerkit to get up and running. So for now just sit tight! 

DIGITAL FULFILLMENT

All digital rewards will be accessible via the backerkit survey which will go out via email sometime in April. This will include all previously published material, as well as well as the PDF of The Princess & The Dragon, which is undergoing final edits currently

DIGITAL EXTRAS

All the extras, including the art print/pregens, bookmarks, map prints and stickers will be included as pdfs and jpgs with the digital edition of the Princess & The Dragon. Right now, there's some work that still needs to be done on the extras. Mainly, creating the pregen characters for the back of the prints. In the event that we don't have these complete by the time backer kit surveys go out, we will add the download links at a later date so that we can get the main pdf out as quickly as possible. You will get an email update from backerkit when new downloads are available.

PHYSICAL FULFILLMENT

Shipping will be charged via Backerkit once we get closer to fulfillment. Space Penguin Ink will again be handling fulfillment of the physical goods. Once production begins, I will have better estimates for timing. Since we don't have much to do to complete the products, I'm estimating a quick fulfillment over the next couple of months, but I will be in touch with specific updates as we send files to print, begin production, and other milestones.

In the meantime, the folks at Many Sided Media have been running an absolutely gorgeous actual play of Perils & Princesses featuring the Sweet Revenge campaign as part of their "My First Dungeon" podcast. The first episode features an interview with me, the second features character creation along with session 0, before digging into the Ennie-nominated campaign by Destiny Howell. The cast is brilliant, the sound design is immersive, and they bring the game to life wonderfully:

What an amazing response!

We've gotten to the point where Kickstarter counts the remaining time in hours instead of days which means we're almost done!

This is shaping up to be the most successful crowdfund out of all the P&P supplements and I couldn't be more proud of the work that Destiny, Sean and I have done. 

Looking forward to one last pledge push before we wrap up and start getting this out to all of you. 

Speaking of getting these out to you...

I've had a couple of recurring questions about the delivery of the items:
 

Will the pdfs be available before the print versions?

YES! After you fill out your backerkit survey, you will have pdf access. After the campaign ends, funds will take about two weeks to transfer, and in the meantime I will be setting up backerkit to manage pledges. You will then get a backerkit survey which will confirm all your info and give you access to all the downloadables! 

Previously published materials (P&P, Sweet Revenge, Night Market) will be available right away, and the new Princess & The Dragon download will be ready as soon as we finish final edits. 

Will digital extras come with the digital version?

YES! Your digital version of The Princess & The Dragon will include high res pdfs of the art prints, full size maps, sticker sheet and bookmarks. 

More updates on physical fulfillment to come. 

There are only two things that need to be done before we send to print: 

1. Complete final edits/proofread of the book. 
2. Generate the pre-gen characters for the character sheets. 

Once those are complete, and kickstarter funds come through, we can start the production process!

450+ Backers In 24 hours!

Thank you all so much for the outpouring of support on day one of this campaign! This blew away all my expectations for how this was going to go. 

Having this many backers turn out in such a quick time just goes to show what's possible when you foster a community that celebrates the power of teamwork, creativity and imagination!

It also helps that Destiny and Sean are the smartest, most creative collaborators I could ever ask for. 

Destiny has said that she's had a lifelong dream of writing a book with a cool dragon on the cover. I've always dreamed of illustrating a book cover with a cool dragon on it, so thank you all for helping us make it happen! 

We've got a long way to go yet, and I'll be sharing updates along the way, including a few sneak peeks inside the book and extras.
